Hydrocodone 325mg/5mg is a narcotic analgesic and antitussive medication. When other painkillers do not work well enough or cannot be tolerated, a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen is used to relieve pain that is severe enough to necessitate opioid treatment. It is a relatively strong medication for the management of moderate to severe pain in postoperative patients, trauma patients, or cancer patients.
